Deposits are non refundable if cancelled 2 months prior to dates On payment of any deposits you are deemed to have fully accepted and agreed to the following Conditions. We reserve the right to decline accommodation and to demand the immediate departure of any persons not complying with these Conditions or for any conduct detrimental to the property or the comfort of other guests.
The prices detailed are from Saturday to Saturday, arriving after 2pm and departing before 11am. Both Cottages will accommodate up to six people. (special arrangement will be considered by the owners)
Electricity is inclusive in the price as is fuel for log burning stoves. Water is natural spring water. Sewage and drainage is to a remote septic tank. All rooms centrally heated by oil fired central heating thermostatically controlled. Sufficient crockery and utensils are provided to meet the maximum number of occupants. Coordinated bed linen are supplied with all beds being made up.
Provisional bookings are best made by telephone, fax or email and subject to the requested dates being available, confirmed within 7 days. with a 10% of the week(s) total booking fee. The full balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to the planned arrival dates (or by special arrangement with the owners). If your booking is made within 6 weeks prior to the planned arrival dates then the total amount becomes due. The deposit becomes non-refundable if the holiday is cancelled within 6 weeks of the planned arrival dates.
To be responsible for the cottage and to take reasonable care of it, to keep it clean and tidy and to replace any breakages or damage caused. To permit the owner to enter the property at any reasonable time, to carry out repairs deemed necessary to the property or equipment. The stated levels of occupancy shall not be exceeded.
The contract effected on receipt of the completed Booking is in terms of Schedule 2 part II case 13 of the Rent (Scotland) Act 1984 and confers on the tenant the right to occupy the cottage for the period agreed for holiday purposes only.
No extra charges are made for a well-behaved dog , although you will be responsible for any damages and cleaning. You will appreciate that Nettle Cottages is maintained to a high standard and you are welcome to walk your dog around the garden and amongst the trees , but are required as a responsible dog owner , to properly dispose of any little messages.
Maximum of 1 dog per cottage.
All dogs must be on a lead when outside and not left unattended in cottage during the day.
On arrival we will introduce you to the accommodation and associated amenities with written manufacturers instructions being provided for all amenities. In the unlikely event of a complaint or problem, this should be brought to our attention immediately so that the matter can be investigated and resolved as soon as reasonably practicable after notification.
